FAQs

What kinds of companies need marketing?

Regardless of what industry your company is in, you could probably use some assistance with marketing. Whether you work with other businesses (B2B), or you work with consumers directly, it doesn't hurt to differentiate your company and services from those of your competitors. Sometimes, it's just a tagline. Other times, it's a unique logo. We can help you deliver your message to the right folks.

What industries do you currently work with?

We have clients across various industries, and are always looking to expand even further. Whether you’re interested in a personal website just for yourself, perhaps to show off a portfolio, or you’re a restauranteur, real estate agent, musician, photographer, or something else–we're up for a challenge!

Contact us and let's chat about how we could help.

How much do your services cost?

Our rates are very competitive when compared with larger digital marketing agencies. Typically, we charge flat hourly rates for design work and consultation, as well as our other services. Other services are billed based on setup time, maintenance, and where applicable, commissions. We are also flexible and willing to work within your budget!

What types of features can my website have?

Our websites are built using the Squarespace platform, which can accommodate features across many disciplines. Websites can contain online ordering features for restaurants, music streaming for musicians and bands, beautiful galleries to show off the work of photographers, online stores for retail, and even appointment scheduling. Squarespace also offers 24/7 support so issues can typically be resolved quickly.

What’s love got to to do with it?

Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?

Haven’t I seen this color scheme before?

Probably. Have you ever purchased ink for a printer before? The color scheme is CYMK, or for those not in the industry, cyan (blue), yellow, magenta (pink) and key (black). We chose these bold colors because we feel that they represent everything that Ampersand Media stands for. And because it’s an industry standard, and we’re punny like that.

Where did the name Ampersand originate?

Funny you should ask. Founder & CEO Ryan Pina came up with the name and had originally intended for it to be the name of a really bad-ass, yet-to-be-formed wedding band. However, when he decided to start the company, he borrowed the name from himself, and the rest is history.
